Also, you should start exercising, it will help you fall asleep at night, because you will get more tired during the day. It is as simple as that. The more energy you give, the more sleep you get.
You should not drink coffee or anything with caffeine at least five hours before going to bed. Also, you should awvoid eating heavy meals in the evening. If you are starving in the evening, have a quick and light snack. Not a burger.
Read a book before you go to sleep! It will help you wind down. Basically, sleeping needs a foreplay, and being on a computer is not really a good one.
